Privacy Policy

Omnix Bioscience ("Omnix", "we", "us") sells research-grade compounds for laboratory use in the United States. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you use omnixbioscience.com or place an order, why we collect it, where it is kept, who it is shared with, and the choices you have.

In short: we collect only what we need to take and ship your order and to answer your questions. We do not store card numbers, we do not run advertising trackers, and we never sell your personal information.

1. What we collect

When you place an order we collect:

Your name and email address, so we can confirm the order and contact you about it.
Your shipping address, so we can deliver it.
A phone number, if you choose to give one, used only if there is a problem with delivery.
Your order details and order history: what you ordered, quantities, prices, any discount code used, the order reference, its status, and any note you add at checkout.

When you contact us through the contact form or by email, we collect your name, email address and the content of your message.

Our web infrastructure (see section 6) records standard technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We use it for security and to keep the site running, not to build a profile of you.

What we do not collect

No card numbers. We do not accept credit or debit cards and there is no card processor on this site. We never see or store your banking credentials or account number.
No account or password. There is no customer account; each order stands on its own.
No advertising or social-media trackers. See section 7.

2. Why we collect it

We use personal information only for the purposes below, which we consider a reasonable person would find appropriate in the circumstances:

To take, confirm, pack and ship your order, and to tell you when it has shipped.
To match your payment to your order and confirm it.
To answer your questions and resolve problems with an order.
To keep the records we are required to keep for tax and accounting purposes.
To protect the site and our customers from fraud and abuse (for example, rate-limiting repeated checkout attempts).
To confirm that buyers are 21 or older and are purchasing for laboratory research, which is a condition of sale (see our Terms of Service).

We do not use your information for marketing unless you have separately asked to be told when a product is back in stock, in which case we send that one notice and nothing else.

3. Consent

By placing an order or contacting us you consent to the collection and use of your information for the purposes above. You may withdraw consent at any time by contacting us (section 9), subject to legal and contractual limits: for example, we cannot ship an order without an address, and we must keep records of completed orders for the period required by law.

4. Where your information is kept and how it is protected

Orders and customer details are stored in a database hosted by Supabase in [REGION TO CONFIRM]. Access is restricted to named staff with individual logins; changes to orders are recorded in an audit log that cannot be edited.
In transit, all connections to our site and systems are encrypted (HTTPS/TLS).
Our order-management application is hosted by Vercel and our email is sent through Resend; both may process data on servers in other countries while carrying out those tasks (see section 6).

No system is perfectly secure. If we become aware of a breach of security safeguards that creates a real risk of significant harm to you, we will notify you as the law requires.

5. How long we keep it

Order records (including name, address and what was purchased) are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires business records to be kept.
Contact-form messages are kept only as long as needed to deal with your enquiry.
Back-in-stock requests are deleted once the notice has been sent.
Technical logs held by our infrastructure providers are kept for their standard short retention periods.

6. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with the service providers needed to fulfil your order and run the site, and only the information each one needs:

Some of these providers operate outside the United States. While information is in their hands it may be subject to the laws of those countries, including access by their authorities under lawful process.

We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We will disclose information without consent only where the law requires it, for example in response to a valid court order.

7. Cookies and similar technologies

This site uses no advertising or social-media tracking. It does use our own usage measurement, run on our own systems with no outside analytics company: which pages are opened, how long a page is open while you are actually reading it, how far you scroll, which links and buttons you press, how quickly pages load, whether a page could not be found or hit an error, what you add to the cart and whether an order is placed, and search terms that matched no product. If you start a form and leave without sending it we record which field you stopped at, never what you typed. To tell one visit from another we keep a random identifier in your browser's storage and a second one that groups the pages of one visit together and expires after thirty quiet minutes; you can erase both by clearing this site's data. Our network provider (Cloudflare) tells us the country, region and city your connection points to, and we keep those three place names; we do not keep your IP address, a postal code or map coordinates. If your browser sends a Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control signal, none of this is recorded.

Essential storage. Your browser's local storage keeps your shopping cart and remembers that you have passed the age gate. This never leaves your browser and is not sent to us.
Cloudflare. Our network provider may set a small number of cookies (such as __cf_bm) that are strictly necessary for security and bot protection.

To opt out, turn on Do Not Track or Global Privacy Control in your browser, or clear this site's data at any time.

8. Age and research context

This site is for adults aged 21 and over who are purchasing for laboratory research. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 21. If you believe someone under 21 has placed an order, contact us and we will delete the information and cancel the order.

9. Your rights and how to exercise them

You may:

Access the personal information we hold about you and learn how it has been used and shared.
Correct information that is inaccurate or incomplete.
Withdraw consent or ask us to delete your information, subject to the retention we are required to keep (section 5).
Ask questions or complain about our handling of your information.

To do any of these, email [email protected] with your name and order reference. We will respond within 30 days, and we may ask you to verify your identity before releasing information. There is no charge.

10. Changes to this policy

We will post any changes on this page and update the "Last updated" date above. Material changes that affect how your information is used will be highlighted here and, where we have your email from a recent order, sent to you.
